Aza Aza Starvil Korean Cuisine & BBQ Restaurant, near Queensbay Mall, Penang
On one day passing by shop lot outside Queensbay Mall Penang, my colleagues and I were surprised to saw Wei Zhi Jia restaurant was replaced by Aza Aza Starvil Korean Cuisine & BBQ Restaurant. It is next to MAX Restaurant (美食之家茶餐楼). Few of us went there for a colleague birthday dinner.

The restaurant are quite nicely decorated. The painting are nice, and guess what is below?

It is the cashier decorated using three plate *chuckle*

There are not many choices in the menu we feel. However, each manage to find something to order. Here are the free flow side dishes.

Okay, I have not set the white balance. Too busy chatting with friends :) On that day, we were served stir fried egg, kim chi, potato, radish soup and fried rice biscuit. Hmm, I would prefer side dished by Daorae :p
Kimchi Jjigae (Kimchi soup with pork, served with rice) 韩国泡菜汤 + 白饭 @ RM 15.90.

Signature mixed fruit tea @ RM 4.90 and lime tea @ RM 3.90. I forgot which is which, the colours are similar. ST like the fruit tea.

Ddeokbokki (spicy fried Korean rice cake) 辣炒年糕@ RM 19.90.

Japchae (fried Korean sweet potato noodle) 韩式炒冬粉 @ RM 19.90. This is delicious we feel.

Doenjang Jjigae (Korean soy bean soup) 韩国酱汤 + 白饭 @ RM 15.90.

Dolsot Bibimbap (Korean rice in hot stone bowl) served with Korean seaweed soupo 韩式石头拌饭 + 韩式海带汤 @ RM 13.90.

After the waitress stir the bibimbap for us :)

The white rice.

The restaurant surprised the birthday girl by giving her a free Patbingsu (Korean style mixed ice) 韩式红豆冰, which is usually sell at RM 5.90.

Although it has less choices in the menu, at its price, I feel can give it a try if you love Korean food.

What do you see?
This is a very common positive mindset (or whatever mindset) question . From the picture above, what do you see? Do you see
- The small black dot, OR
- The big white space
I tried to see the big white space from current motherland government drivers, but unfortunately the fact is below, where I can hardly see the white space...
No offense, just my personal thoughts. Maybe you can find more white space :p

黄明志 我还是我 namewee "I am still me"
Got to know this song from a friend blog. I think it is quite nice and the lyrics, if you can understand mandarin. 让人刮目相看

Sun shade or 'car shade'?
I know, it is hot here in Malaysia, that we need to put on sun shade. But I hope, if you used to do like the car owner below, putting sun shade at the back windscreen while driving, I hope you can kindly spend 2 minute to put it down before start driving.

Why? It block the view of vehicle behind you, which make it dangerous. No? Have you heard of 飞蚊症 floater, with a small mosquito always in your eye sight is so annoying, needless to say such a big blockage :)

Penang Botanical Garden
As I wish, I wish to write more about my nearby. Penang Botanical Garden is not a new place for me, I'd been there many times, for jogging, hiking, gathering, outdoor event and etc.
The entrance. It is open from 5am - 9pm everyday. Free admission.

A lot of activities going on usually. Jogging, photography, tai chi classes, aerobic, people practicing chinese sword and etc. Love the green and fresh air here. Oh if you bring something to eat here, watch out for monkey robber.

A lot of flower blooming last weekend :) I don't have my camera with me, or you will see some macro shot :)

Tram charged at RM 2 for adult, RM 1 for kid. I am not sure how is the schedule though. Never took the ride :p

There are few theme garden here, e.g. lily pond, The Fern House, The Cactus House, The Orchidarium, Sun Rockery, Begonia Collection. Visit Penang Botanical Garden official website for some virtual walk. I think the website is quite innovatively design, worth to visit even for Malaysian :)

Lucky to see so many lotus blooming at Lily Pond.

A shadow of a giant tree, isn't it artistic?

Hopefully state government will improve on the toilet, there is just one sign board, and just one toilet located quite deep inside. Hopefully there will be one at the new parking lot outside. At the moment, you need to pay 20 cents to use the toilet.
