How to perform resgen in VS post-build command

In my VS 2008 projects, I need to generate resource file from .resx file after each build (in case there were changes on the .resx file). Of cource I can do it manually but it is just not efficient at all.

To solve this, it is simple, go to project's properties page, at Build Events's post-build command box, type this:

"$(VS80COMNTOOLS)..\..\SDK\v2.0\Bin\resgen.exe" "{ResourceDirectory}\{ResourceName}.resx" "{OutputDirectory}\{ResourceName}.resources"

For example:
"$(VS80COMNTOOLS)..\..\SDK\v2.0\Bin\resgen.exe" "$(ProjectDir)Resource\MyResource.resx" "$(OutDir)Resources\MyResource.resources"

Remember to put the quote " in the parameter. At the very first time, I do not realize the quotes are needed, and always get error "The command $(VS80COMNTOOLS)..\..\SDK\v2.0\Bin\resgen.exe {ResourceDirectory}\{ResourceName}.resx {OutputDirectory}\{ResourceName}.resources" failed and exited with code 9009.

排毒的第二天

今天是第二天，感觉上还是很快肚子饿，上厕所一号也比之前更顺畅。比较明显的是喝水量少了，但是尿液的分量却稍微增加了。难怪叫做“水果”，果然是水做的。之前昭妃博士说过dehydrate后的nutrifresh其实有很多水果制造而成，看来现在有更深的体会。

今天的菜单，除汤经过水煮走油，其他生吃：
- 西芹菜 + 红萝卜+ 椰菜花 + 西洋菜煮汤 + 少许米粉
- 二条青瓜，一粒番茄，几条香蕉，一条玉蜀黍，几小片木瓜

明天约了同事去chicago rib house，希望有适合的食物，否则就要破少少戒了。

排毒的第一天

Oily diarrhea

你有经历过上大号时发觉排泄出来的竟然是油吗？而且是橙色的油。

上星期三晚上我竟然连续2次都是排泄橙色的油，这可让我吓了一跳，蛮担心的。第二天早上，才从同事口中得知，我可能是吃了一些油鱼（oil fish）或白鱼（white fish）。谢谢网络的便利，很快的从wikipedia得知一二，再阅读了http://www.kwongwah.com.my/news/2007/09/19/100.html 和http://joanyee.blogspot.com/2008/07/oily-orange-diarrhea.html，才比较放心，应该是星期二在一间日本餐馆吃了Shiromi Foruyaki Teishoku （white fish）才会有这些症状。当然，我不敢自己当医生，随后到诊疗所去探望医生。在医生的证实后，终于放下心头里的一颗大石头。这个症状一共持续了2天。亲爱的朋友们，以后进食white fish可要有心理准备哦。

这种橙色的油带有蜡性，所以比较难清理，用一些温水就比较容易清除。

One life revolution (Aug 12 - 14 Gurney plaza)

Would you probably have 30min free time on Aug 12 - 14, 2008, 10am - 10pm? If so, I strongly encourage you to attend a free admission HIV/AIDS exhibition at Gurney Plaza concourse area. It is organize by World Vision and it is called One Life Revolution.

I was enrolled in the world vision one life revolution helper program. I know nothing about this One Life Revolution program before. Last Sat I attended the helper briefing session. In the briefing, I found this exhibition is very special, not normal poster booth but with mp3 headset to listen to story and wearing the children shoe throughout the exhibition. After that briefing, I decided to take a day off on Aug 14, to help more and also to experience the exhibition. Although I am not a Christian, but helpful hand should be religious-less :)
