Ristorante Bravo Italiana, Penang

I like food, Japanese food, Hong Kong food, western food, Italian food, Malay food, Indian food, almost all kind of food :) In Penang, I enjoy the hawker food the most but also visit some restaurant from time to time.

A best friend and I visit Bravo Italiana near I-avenue, Bukit Jambul, Penang. We reached there around 12.30pm. Surprisingly there were only two guest, whose are my friend and I *chuckle*. Well, some restaurant in Bayan Lepas area is packed only during weekday, when the factory is operating.

A quick glance of the restaurant.

We ordered set lunch, at RM 16.90 or RM 24. The food, in clockwise direction from top left:
1. Garlic bread + soup. The soup is quite nice, with quite a number of mushroom and olive inside. The bread is crunchy and smell nice too. Dipping the bread into the soup is what I usually do :D
2. Fish and chip.
3. Mint ice cream and coffee. As usual :)
4. Spaghetti in olive oil and herbs. I think this is good, if the chef can give few more brocolli will be even better :D The portion is quite huge, just suit people who would like to gain weight like me :D

The menu is typical Italian food menu we can found in Penang I feel. If there is raviolli, risotto, or tivolli will be even better :D

As what I would normall do when dine in Italian restaurant, a tiramisu before or after the meal :D

I personally feel this is quite good. I am not sure what is actual Kahlua taste, the waiter said they are using Kahlua. I feel there is hardly alcohol taste, although there is some bitter taste. I will try this again if I revisit this restaurant :D

Set lunch at RM 16.90/24, tiramisu RM 12.80.

MK, The food looks appetizing..and I am drooling! BTW, is kahlua a famous Middle East dessert? I seem to hear from someone before but never tried. What was it made from?

Kahlua is a kind of liqueur http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kahl%C3%BAa . Some people use it in tiramisu making :)
